It is reported that 301 global operators are deploying the LTE projects vigorously right now, the 242 commercial LTE networks are being deployed, commercial or planned in 81 countries and regions, additionally 59 operators from 14 countries and regions are testing or demostrating. Because asian operators are accelerating their TDD/FDD LTE deployment ,so it will be the biggest market very soon in the world.

30th May, 2012, The executive meeting of the State Council passed the 12th five years national strategic emerging industry development planning, Clearly support the TD-LTE R & D and commercial demonstration projects,it indicates the basic principle of the government actively supports the development of TD-LTE. 10th September 2012,the related leaders in MIIT clearly stated 4G license will be handling out around one year later. In this October, China has decided to choose 2.6GHz frequency band 2500-2690Hz, all 190MHz frequency resource as the future 4G LTE system ‘s TDD spectrum,China Mobile launched the 4G network construction completely from this second half of the year,plan to build more than 200 thousands base stations before 2013, purchase the TD-LTE equipments in 100 cities.In addition,China Telecom and China Unicom launched the TDD/FDD testing in the country as well. In a nutshell ,the next few years will be the LTE ‘s golden development time. According to the forecast, the scale of investment in the 4G network of pre-construction pull about 500 billion RMB, after the network’s official commercial utilisation, it will drive terminal manufacturers and software on the downstream industry, the scale of the industry is expected to exceed one trillion RMB mark.
